Quantum-Dot Spintronics
Spintronic applications rely on exploiting the spin degree of freedom of charge carriers. For devices on the nanoscale, one may go down to generate and manipulate spin polarization of a few or even individual spins.
This workshop will bring together scientists working in the recently developping field of quantum-dot spintronics. The presented talks will cover topics such a spin injection and tunnel magneto resistance in zero-dimensional systems.
